About Al Mumtaz Bldg Clean & Pest Control (MUMTAZ)
Al Mumtaz Bldg Clean & Pest Control, now trading as MUMTAZ Integrated Services Group, was founded in Sharjah in 2006, when it signed its first structured pest control contract for the Al Nahda residential project. Its head office is in Al Manakh, Hay Al Qasimiah, with further offices in Deira, Dubai and Mussafah, Abu Dhabi.
Pest control is one of its three divisions alongside cleaning and facilities management. It treats cockroaches, bed bugs, termites (pre-construction and post-construction), rodents, ants, silverfish, birds and pigeons, snakes and reptiles, mosquitoes and flies, for apartments, villas, restaurants, hotels, clinics, schools, retail, warehouses and labour accommodation.
Every job follows integrated pest management: inspect, identify the source, treat with municipality-approved products at label dilution, follow up, and report what has to change. Each visit produces a service report listing the areas treated, products and dosage, findings and technician, and contracts add a numbered device map and trend data.
The company is listed on the Sharjah Municipality register of pest control companies for general pest control and termites, and states it holds pest control approval in Dubai and Abu Dhabi too, plus ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. It covers more than 100 Sharjah communities from the Al Manakh office at the same rates, with no surcharge for gated communities.
Home treatments have a published per-bedroom price from AED 215 incl. VAT for a studio; commercial work is quoted after a free inspection. Bookings are by WhatsApp on 050 760 0343 or toll-free 800 688, and payment is by card on site, payment link, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer or cheque.

Frequently asked questions
How much does pest control cost with MUMTAZ in Sharjah?
Home pest control has a published price by bedroom count, incl. VAT: studio AED 215, 1BHK AED 259, 2BHK AED 299, 3BHK AED 339, 4BHK apartment or villa AED 495, rising to AED 770 for 9BHK. Termite, bed bug and fumigation work is priced separately, and commercial premises are quoted after a free inspection.
What does the residential treatment include?
The Premium Pest Management package covers an inspection, treatment with municipality-approved products, a follow-up visit where the treatment type needs one, and a service report recording what was found and what was applied. The price is the same across the UAE.
How does MUMTAZ treat bed bugs?
After an inspection to confirm bed bugs, technicians use targeted residual spraying, crack-and-crevice treatment and steam or heat where appropriate. Every bed bug treatment includes a follow-up inspection 10 to 14 days later to treat newly hatched bugs, and you get a written preparation list before the visit.
How are cockroaches treated?
German and American cockroach programmes use gel baiting into harbourage such as kitchen cabinetry rather than blanket spraying, with a follow-up visit to check the trend. The company says it leaves at least a week between gel baiting and residual spray.
Does MUMTAZ do termite treatment?
Yes: pre-construction soil treatment for new builds and post-construction control for villas and fit-outs. Termite work is a separate clearance on the Sharjah register, and the register lists the company for termites as well as general pest control. Termite jobs are priced separately.
Is the treatment safe for children and pets, and when can we go back in?
Only municipality-approved products are used, applied at label dilution, and you are told the re-entry period before the team leaves. The company asks you to mention infants, pregnant or elderly occupants, pets, fish tanks or birds at booking, because that changes product choice and timing.
What happens if pests come back?
Every treatment includes a scheduled follow-up, and if activity returns within the agreed follow-up period the team comes back at no extra charge. The period is agreed per job and written on the quotation and service report. The company says it does not promise a home will stay pest-free.
Is MUMTAZ approved by Sharjah Municipality?
Yes. The Sharjah Municipality register of pest control companies lists Al Mumtaz Building Cleaning & Pest Control for general pest control and termites. The company says its entry is Category A, the highest of the register's three classes; you can search the register yourself on shjmun.gov.ae.
Does MUMTAZ offer annual pest control contracts?
Yes. Residential clients can take a quarterly AMC that bundles general pest control with termite monitoring and seasonal mosquito treatment, and commercial contracts include scheduled visits, a numbered device map, service reports and trend data. Call-outs included per year are set in the contract.
Which areas of Sharjah does MUMTAZ cover?
Its Sharjah page lists 101 communities served from the Al Manakh office at the same rates, including Al Nahda, Al Majaz, Al Khan, Al Taawun, Al Qasimia, Rolla, Muwaileh, Al Zahia, Aljada, University City, the Industrial Areas, Al Sajaa, SAIF Zone and Hamriyah Free Zone. It also works in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Can MUMTAZ come the same day?
Often, according to the company, because the head office and most technicians are in Sharjah, but it does not promise a response time outside a signed service agreement. Booking by WhatsApp with the property type and what you are seeing gets the fastest slot.
What are MUMTAZ's opening hours?
Google lists Monday to Saturday, 7 am to 6 pm, and Sunday, 7 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 7 pm. The website does not publish opening hours.
How do I book, and can I use WhatsApp?
WhatsApp +971 50 760 0343 (linked on the website), call toll-free 800 688, email info@almumtaz.ae or use the quote form on mumtazgroup.ae. Send the community, property type and what you are seeing.
Does MUMTAZ accept card payment?
Yes: Visa, Mastercard and American Express on the technician's terminal, payment link, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer or cheque. Payment is taken on completion for one-off work, and all published prices include VAT.
What is MUMTAZ's Google rating?
4.8 from 64 reviews on Google for the Al Manakh, Sharjah profile, checked on 4 October 2026. The website still shows an older figure of 4.9 from 56 reviews.
