About Friends Pest Control
Friends Pest Control, part of Friends Environmental Services, has worked in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain since 2003. It has two Abu Dhabi branches, at 1 Al Mukhawir Street in Al Zahiyah and at 74 Elias Al Aali Street in Khalifa City (Sector 13), plus a branch in Al Muwaiji, Al Ain. The company says it has served more than 2,318 clients and 23 partner companies.
Pest services cover cockroaches, bed bugs, termites, rodents and ants, along with general integrated pest management. Cockroach jobs use gel baiting, crack and crevice treatment and growth regulators, with a follow-up visit to confirm elimination. Bed bug jobs combine residual treatment with heat where suitable, treat adjoining rooms and include a verification follow-up. Termite work includes soil barriers, baiting stations, direct injection and pre-construction anti-termite soil treatment for new builds.
Alongside pest control the company runs a cleaning and maintenance side: deep cleaning, water tank cleaning, AC duct cleaning, carpet, sofa and curtain cleaning, marble polishing and small decor work. It serves homes, villas and businesses, and offers scheduled commercial contracts for offices, restaurants and warehouses with documentation for municipality and audit checks.
The company states it uses Tadweer and municipality approved, low toxicity products, but publishes no licence or registration numbers. Its Abu Dhabi coverage list runs from Al Reem, Yas and Saadiyat islands to Khalifa City, MBZ City, Mussafah, Al Shamkha, Al Reef, Masdar City and Al Falah.
Booking starts with a free inspection. The main line and WhatsApp, 050 112 7654, runs 24/7, the website form promises a callback within 15 minutes, and staff work in English and Arabic. Every visit ends with a written report and a service guarantee, according to the website.

Had taken their services to control cockroaches. Came and carried out their procedure which looked inadequate. Followed them up with the videos and pics of cockroaches still roaming around, which they said will take time to be effective, and that never happened. After informing the owner and escalating, same guys came with a grumpy face, and started blaming me for not having patience and that there are no cockroaches...

Frequently asked questions
How much does pest control cost with Friends Pest Control?
Friends Pest Control does not publish prices on its website or Google profile; ask when you call. The inspection is free and the plan is tailored to the property and pest.
How does Friends Pest Control treat cockroaches?
Technicians inspect kitchens, bathrooms and building risers, apply gel bait at activity points, treat cracks and voids, add a growth regulator to stop breeding and return for a follow-up visit. The company says activity drops within a few days, with full control typically in one to two weeks.
How does bed bug treatment work?
A room-by-room inspection of beds, furniture and seams, a preparation checklist, residual treatment plus heat where suitable, treatment of adjoining rooms, and a verification follow-up. Most cases need an initial treatment plus one follow-up, according to the company.
Do they treat termites?
Yes. Options include soil barriers around the foundation, in-ground and above-ground baiting stations, direct injection of active galleries, and pre-construction anti-termite soil treatment before the slab is poured.
Do I need to leave home during treatment?
For cockroach gel baiting the company says there is no need to evacuate and only a few cabinets need clearing. For other treatments, your technician advises any short ventilation time needed.
Is the treatment safe for children and pets?
The company says it uses only municipality approved, low toxicity products applied so treated areas are safe once dry.
Is there a guarantee or follow-up?
Every visit ends with a written report and a service guarantee, cockroach and bed bug jobs include a follow-up visit, and termite treatment is documented with a warranty period. The length of the guarantee is not published, so ask for it in writing.
Does Friends Pest Control offer annual contracts for businesses?
Yes. It provides scheduled commercial contracts for offices, restaurants, warehouses and facilities, with documentation for municipality and audit requirements.
Which areas do they cover?
All of Abu Dhabi, including Al Reem Island, Yas Island, Saadiyat Island, Khalifa City, MBZ City, Mussafah, Al Shamkha, Al Reef, Al Bateen, Al Zahiyah, Masdar City and Al Falah, plus Al Ain.
